The College Register

The College Register, in partnership with the National Hispanic Institute (NHI), works to increase numbers of students into member institutions and towards developing a new reservoir of Latino leaders to make an impact in the US Latino community.

As a members-only consortium of post-secondary, 4-year institutions, the College Register is committed to the development of the Latino college campus community. Since its founding in 1989, NHI and the College Register have developed programs that have created new market techniques for conducting outreach to Latino families, name-branded member institutions among the college bound Latino youth community, and cultivated strong and effective leadership among Latino campus leaders.

Annually, College Register institutions are able to connect with approximately 4,000 high achieving, high ability Latino youth and participate in co-marketing activities with NHI in thousands of high schools and hundreds of Latino local community based organizations. NHI students perform at extremely high levels attending college immediately after high school at a 98% rate of which 90% finish their degrees in 5 years or less and 67%-plus attend graduate and professional studies.
